This is an excellent tool for the open barrel terminal, sometimes called "B crimp", sometimes called "W crimp". The parallel jaw design does an excellent job of making a symmetrical crimp. The tool joints have zero play, which is good because it keeps the dies well aligned. If you want to be able to open it with one hand you will have to open and close it with two hands fifty times or so, first.
There are no directions except for the label on the box, which lists the range of wire sizes covered by each cavity A through E. The following table is more convenient than reading the range list. Good crimper for occasional use, but not perfect. To that end, it fits the bill alright, though I do have a few small gripes.
Bear in mind, this is the first crimper of this style I've owned, so I don't have much to compare against higher-end tools. Pros: Produced nice looking and secure crimps on a few different styles of pins. Comfortable grip for light occasional use. Definitely sturdy enough where I have no concerns about it falling apart.

These are excellent crimpers!! They have the exact same markings even down to the font used for marking the openings. The price was about the same, and these are much beter than the ones the matco driver offered me.
