Fan connector PCB: allows you to connect four 3-pin fans to a single Molex for improved cable management. Eleven Hundred.
The manual lacks a little. There were a lot of screws that came with the unit but no documentation showing where to put them, especially the longer screws that you'd have to use to screw in any fans to the front of the case. Overall Review: I did get the rebate! This is the best case and most value I've ever gotten from a case. It's got a lot of space, the materials don't feel cheaply made at all, there are cable management holes everywhere, the front panel gives me all the necessary components audio, mic, 2x USB 2.
I have 2x on the clear plastic side and 2x on the front of the case. Antec's thought of almost everything for this case. Tons of room on the inside, quality materials, great mounting options for HDD and any 5. I'd highly recommend this case, as this is the best case I've ever had. My buddies bought the Corsair case and they wished they would of bought this Antec case instead NOT that I'm taking anything away from Corsair though. Pros: Large case, plenty of fan mounts, filter in the front and for bottom PSU.
As others have noted, there are only 2 screw holes for each of the side panel fan mount, and the plastic holder will break off easily one of mine did. Overall Review: Other than the con the case is fairly good. Get it if it is on sale.
Otherwise you can do better. Pros: Modern design, the cable grommets are very useful. It's nice not to work in cramped spaces.
In my older years I am not impressed by crazy LEDs anymore so I really liked the aesthetic of this case and the workmanship on it is good.
Has lots of room for extra fans, the filters are a nice touch, the front side ports work well. Overall this is a great package and I got it on a killer deal but I had a few problems Cons: So for some reason Antec decided to "go green" or cheap in my mind where every other manufacturer still sends a manual with their products.
Manuals are a good thing for DIY projects because not every build is going to be the same, especially when its the case that you mount everything to for crying out loud. The V2 model did NOT have a manual posted on their website either. So here is my beef When referring to the old V1 manual, there are 10 motherboard stand offs and 10 screws The internal fan behind the drive cage gets this cool air right to my GPU.
I do plan to get two more green cougars for these internal bays. I've worked in a lot of cases over the years and this one has to be my favorite. Pros: Newegg shipped this case almost next day! There is so much about this case and its WOW factor I really should wait until I am more awake to write this, however I have already procrastinated this long if I do not do now I will not do it at all, so here it goes. The case is Huge and well organized, big space behind the motherboard for cable management and a fan to blow on the backside of the CPU area, there are rubber grommet areas all around the motherboard area to thread yours cables back through keeping most of the cables out of the main case area.
There is a vent underneath where the Power Supply mounts with a removable screen to keep dust out. It comes with 1 mm fan and 1 mm fan, unlike other Antec cases I bought the optional fans do not come with it, I bought and installed the other 7 mm fans.
Other than screwing in the fans the case is pretty much tool less as well. The front USB's and the sound ports work with no problems. The Corsair HX power supply cables reached everything easily even with using the cable management system. The case also came with all the screws, adapters, mounts needed for any motherboard, power supply, hard drive, fans etc.
Bottom line it is a good looking case, lots of room for most any setup, near perfect design setup, can see everything in your system from the side window, can easily get at anything in your system before, during and after the build. Cons: Small con, the plastic nubs that hold the side window fans are easily broken, be careful when mounting the side fans.
I broke one when switching fans, even if your break both for each fan the two screws on each fan will hold it firmly in place, it is just something to be careful of.
Cons: Need to research power supplies to make sure the motherboard power will reach, top mm fan poor quality. Overall Review: I have owned three of these cases and although they are excellent for nearly everything you throw at them, their one huge defect is the mm fan on top.
In all three of my cases, the fan started rattling within one year of purchase. I have had two replaced under warranty and I just sent my third RMA request in yesterday for the same defect. If they get the fan issue resolved, this case would be perfect in every way. About my con re: power supply leads, make sure you research power supplies.
Since the PSU sits on the bottom and most motherboards are designed nearly the same anymore, because of the size of this case, your PSU power leads may JUST make it to the top of the board. You will probably have to go around the video card for it to just reach. This thing is HUGE. Sold by: Newegg Shipped by Newegg. This item is currently out of stock and it may or may not be restocked.

A top mm exhaust fan, rear mm fan and up to seven more optional fans in strategic positions — including behind the motherboard tray for added CPU cooling — keep all your components comfortably firing on all cylinders.
The Eleven Hundred also lets you organize a clean, powerful build with superior cable routing, including 36 mm of width behind the motherboard tray and grommet-lined cable routing holes. Michael B. Verified Owner. Superb Case! Both of these concerns are not a big deal, but something I feel manufacturers can add. Fans and something to hold the grommets in place inexpensively brings an even better experience to the user.
Last, and something specific to this case, is the seeming inability of the case to use larger water cooling systems without modification. Having that added flexibility would have been a definite plus. Wrapping things up, the Antec Eleven Hundred really has everything one would want in a case. Antec just announced several high-end power supplies that will hit the shelves in early May.
Antec was kind enough to send Overclockers. While it is in related to the HCP W in name and efficiency the internals are almost certainly significantly different.
We will, of course, check! More often than not the PC case is overlooked during a system build. So much time and money are spent selecting the best components you can afford that the budget tends to run a bit short. The last thing you want to do is install these beautiful, shiny new parts into something that just works. Choosing the best case can really make the whole building experience a joy where the wrong one can cause nothing but headaches.
A good case can span more than one system, a great case could be around for many years. In the end, spending money wisely now can save you money in the future!
